Bemusement: Levels Of Responsibility
(The Game Makes The Difference)

Bemusement is that special type of being confused which comes because of an individual's inability to take all things into consideration during an evaluation. Again, like all other labels of the language, bemusement, or the process thereof, is a continuum unto itself. The nature of this continuum deals with the presence, and/or the absence of bemusement. As such, the relative degree of being bemused extends to the relative levels of awareness which the circumstances of the on-going moment allows. In other words, the game that an individual is trapped into will determine the degree to which he will be bemused -- of course, habit and Karma are involved.

The state of bemusement comes in at least two different forms... needless to say, there are different variations of the two. Among the forms are the following two:

  1. When an individual unknowingly takes something for granted, in which case the degree of being bemused comes from his Karma; in which case, the individual is not totally at fault.

  2. When an individual doesn't bother to take the time to take all factors into account, in which case the degree of being bemused comes from his own carelessness; in which case, the individual is at fault.

As an example, if someone plans for an outdoor event, the individual who is governed by #2 above might assume the weather will be fine; but, when the day comes, the weather is such that the event has to be canceled. It is obvious that the individual didn't think of checking for good weather. While the individual was said to be bemused, the state of bemusement was caused because of his own carelessness.

On the other hand, if the individual were governed by #1 above, he'd be bemused because it was just impossible, under the circumstances, to think of everything. In such a case, it is safe to assume that he didn't check the weather because it never occurred to him that weather was a factor in his plans; because of his limited attention span, there were too many other things to check.

In the grand order of things, Man has come to this planet Earth because of bemusement. He has descended into many levels of grosser and grosser reality, wrapping himself into grosser and grosser cocoons of illusion.

Man did not take everything into account when he decided to leave the Universal Nest. Man became bemused by way of both, reference #1 and reference #2.

The bemusement process is a tangled web of many deeds and thoughts. It will take Man at least 10 times as long to ascend out of the habit of bemusement as it took Man to become bemused. Again, needless to say, during the process of descending into bemusement, Man must still address the hidden agenda that was with him as he descended upon Earth's Astral Plane Of Common Reality. The cloak of Man's hidden agenda is just as strong now as it was during the time that it caused Man to become bemused. Man must still come to understand that it is his bemusement that is at the root of his war with himself -- Man, the individual against Man, the species.

Many new factors have to be taken into account if the Twinspecies:Human is to escape the lattice of the bemusement net. The many threads of the web of illusion must be properly identified before they can be rolled back from whence they came.

Gravity's new creation -- the Time/Space Continuum -- has to be dealt with. It is being discovered that the ascension from The Earth Experience's illusion of uniqueness -- Individuality -- is demanding more energy from Man than did the descent; much too late Man realizes that not only will the process of ascending out of bemusement take 10 times as long, it will also take 10 times more energy. We are reminded of the law:

The Force Used To Create A Creation Is The Same Law That Maintains That Creation Within Its Limits Unto Forever.

Fortunately, the new covenant, for those who take advantage of it, will allow Man to gain enough reference points to fly away from the web of life that Man so fool heartedly flew into.

"Oh! What a tangled web we weave."
