Death: The Process
(The Face Of Reincarnation)
Death is the processof transferring one's awareness from one life's illusion into another life's illusion; usually because the individual is following a specific thread which seeks to satisfy a cycle of lives [a cycle of lives is the number of lives an individual must reincarnate in order to equalize a specific karmic debt. The need to experience a specific number of lives comes from a combination of the individual's Predestiny and his stubbornness].
It is fair to say that most people of today's world fear death. It would be difficult, however, to determine if that fear is a result of them not knowing what comes next, or if that fear comes from the idea that they will be held responsible for their deeds, or, if that fear is a direct result of the venom that their religion used in an effort to control their minds.
In either case, one thing is for certain. If an individual believed in The Continuity of Life as they believed in The Continuity of Energy [the continuity of the existence of energy], they would have no valid reason for fear; if energy cannot be destroyed, if energy can only be transformed, so, too, would it be for the energy which gives life---Life's energy is the same energy that powers all life-forms, be that life-form a human, a cat, a dog, a tree, or a blade of grass. There is only one Life-Energy.
The Magi knows this deep within himself because of his travels to other states of Creation. To the Magi, The Death Process is but the ending of the present experience [his present life] within his respective illusions [just one life of his cycle of lives] as each illusion exists upon his present level of awareness [as he follows a specific thread of his karmic bonds].
The Death Process is not a conclusion of his journey; it is merely a process of transferring this life's energy [the energy of the life that is presently ending], his Ka, into the Ba Within which the individual will experience his In Between Time, after which, the Life's energy will again be transferred to a new Ka, wherein the individual will have the next set of experiences [this next experience will be the next life of his cycle of lives as he follows the thread of emotions that condemned him into reincarnation]. A somewhat simplistic explanation of The Death Process is not unlike the following:
Let us say that individual X lives in New York... as a Male; as such, he always wears a black suit [he wears that black suit because that's the suit he was born with]. After a time, let's say fifty years, individual X's black suit is old, torn apart, and totally worn out; it is so worn out that it is now unfit to continue being worn.
Because individual X's suit is worn out and can no longer be used in New York, individual X must now move to another place; he has no choice in the matter, because the laws of New York say that once the suit in which you were born becomes worn out, you must move out of New York.
Let's say that because of that law, individual X decides to move to Florida. Also, in the process of moving from New York to Florida, individual X finds that he need not remain a Male... and, he need not choose to be reborn in a black suit. He can become a Female in a white suit if he chooses--so, he does.
Now then, for the simplistic explanation of The Death Process: let's say that individual X's physical body was that black suit within which he was born. It is worn out and can no longer support individual X's life process. The Death Process is, in fact, the process of moving from New York to Florida. During the actual move (the process of dying) individual X simply abandoned his old, worn-out black suit (his physical body) and took on another suit (the new, white, female body) when he got to Florida (the level of his next Earth experience). Since he has moved and left his old black suit (his old body) behind, the individuals who are still in New York are left with the chore of disposing individual X's old black suit (the dead body) by either burying it, or by burning it, as the custom demands.
However, to individual X, who is now living in Florida (his next level of experience), the disposition of his old black suit (the dead body, the empty shell of what he once was) is of little importance.
He is far too busy dealing with the affairs of his (in this case, her, because, during the move, he changed from a male to a female) new drama. The emotions and the limitations of the new life have only begun to claim their new body; in that, the individual hovers around and about the parents who are in the process of producing the new, white, female body that will be his.
The old him, who once lived in New York, may or may not be just a passing memory. Just how much of the old life will be carried into the new life will depend upon the carry-overs and the trickle-down bonds that Karma forces him, soon to be her, to continue. In any case, Life must, and will, go on. That is the law of the continuity of energy. That is the process of reincarnation.
As for the actual experience of the process of dying, there is sometimes a fear, because of the unknown. That fear of the unknown will make the process more painful, usually because of the stories of damnation which come from earth's existing religions.
To the degree that an individual refused to let go of the illusions of his experience upon that level, to the degree that an individual refused to let go of the illusions of the husband, the friend, the family, the son, the daughter, the grand children, or any other of that life's illusions, then, to that degree will the process become painful and fearful.
If an individual truly accepts The Death Process as being natural, much of which is simply the letting go of that life's illusions, to that degree will an overwhelming peace, filled with love, take the individual to the next life's experience.
To that degree will the individual discover that Death is not the real end; it is just the new beginning; it is only the illusions of the past life that have ended, as the individual continues on to the next SoJourn's destiny.
In reality, Death, itself, is just another continuum, like so many other continuums that each life-form must deal with as a normal process of experiencing life upon planet Earth's Astral Plane Of Common Reality. A basic difference, however, is that each point along the continuum serves as either a Sentry or a Sentinel which guards the door that lies between any two levels of the Earth Experience, or between any two succeeding lives--they prevent one life's affairs from totally bleeding into, and thereby taking over the affairs of the life that lies next to it on the continuum. Albeit, the bleeding can modify certain aspects or certain experiences within the new life, depending upon Karma's limitations.
While most people, when they think of The Death Process, think of dying, Anubis (Death) has many, many other jobs to do upon the Earth-experience's Astral Plane Of Common Reality. Besides governing the mechanism which operates the Double-gate of Life (the Sentry and the Sentinel which stand guard between two states of awareness, between any two lives), as we know life to be, Anubis also governs all the Double-gates of Planet Earth--that includes the one called The Blood Mendella.
As an example, we have all seen how any two people can have differing levels of awareness--as an example, one can be a genius, while the other can be born retarded. Still another example might be how one individual can be a natural at something, while another might have to work hard to do the same thing, while a third individual might never be able to succeed at it at all.
Still another important example (important because many use it as a source which drives their prejudices) might be how individuals are born with different color skin--the skin color might range from very white to jet black.
All of the examples stated above are but points along the continuum of Death. A still more unusual job that Anubis must hold is to attend to the beginning (the births) and the end (the death) of every new experience the life-form will have during its SoJourn. We must, however, agree that each point along the continuum brings with it a totally different set of experiences, and hence, a totally different set of values. An example of this might be the birth of the ability to see (was not born blind)... The death of the ability to see (an accident might have caused blindness)... The birth of not being able to see (perhaps by the same accident)... the death of not being able to see (a successful operation)...
In spite of it all, there is a natural beauty in the process of the death experience that is both, in the same self moment, angelic and demonic. It does not matter to the process if the mobility aspect goes from a lower level to a higher level (this is what man calls learning and growth); or, if the mobility goes from a higher level to a lower level (this often happens when an individual gets into an accident, or gets a disease which leaves its mark); or, if the mobility is such that it is a new cycle of experience that is either beginning (birth) or ending (what we call death). In all cases the process is the same--a Double-gate has been activated.
If we remember that time and space, as we know it, is telescopic, then it becomes easier to understand that our illusions, and the games which are played within each respective illusion, being symbols of a language unto themselves, can easily be modified by the language which we use to describe them. This process comes from the power of language, itself.
Remember the law? It states that there is a special power to language which comes from the fact that it [language] is one of the many tools which the TwinSpecies: Human uses to communicate to others of its kind. True, that is, indeed, power; but, it, in and of itself, is not the true power of language. The true power of language comes from the fact that language is the only tool that the TwinSpecies: Human has with which to communicate to himself. Again, this brings to mind another law. More or less, it states:
An individual's illusions are the driving force for his reality, and, within that respective reality, it is the level of observation that creates the respective phenomenon....
This becomes important during The Death Process because it is the very factor which will determine the experience any given individual will have during that In-between Time, that time when the respective individual is neither alive, nor is he truly dead. As a matter of fact, it can be said that all the real A Happenings of The Death Process happen in this In-between Time.
As an aid toward better understanding the In-between Time, let us, for a moment, speak of that point of the Continuum Of Death wherein an individual is ending a life-cycle [life number three of the seven lives of a cycle of lives] and is in the process of what man calls dying. In the first stage of the process, the first sensation that the individual will feel is a degree of fear--something is wrong. Depending on the level of freedom and the specific society within which that individual lives, the individual will seek help from some type of healer--even if it is just a local medicine man. In the western world we would go see a doctor. Sometimes, the feeling that something is wrong occurs even before the physical body begins to feel the effects of approaching Death.
During the second stage of the process, the next set of events after the examination, would be an emotional trauma--getting the knowledge that our life is ending. This stage of The Death Process is one wherein the activation of the double-gate could send us from a higher level to a lower level of contentment. The length and the degree of emotional hurt will depend upon the specific individual's personal attachment to the affairs of his present life--it can last as short as two minutes or for the rest of his life.
The third stage of The Death Process is where the individual's Ka (the physical body) begins the process of shutting down (this can be very fast or it can take a long time). It is during this part of The Death Process that is the most frightening. Again, depending upon the society within which the individual lives, there are always drugs of some kind which will take the actual physical pain away.
However, there are no drugs that will truly take away the emotional pain; in that, either the individual is ready and willing to leave his present life behind, or he is not. To the degree that he is not, to that degree will there be pain .
As the Ka (the physical body) shuts down more and more, the individual will begin to grow more and more tired; as such, the individual will spend more and more time in what will appear to be normal sleep. More and more, as the stage [the shutdown] approaches the end of this cycle of life, the individual will drift out of and into what he thinks is a dream state. In fact, however, the sleep time is simply the beginnings of the individual's in between time.
The A Happenings [the drama of the dream] of the in between time can be both, very frightening or very peaceful, depending upon the individual's willingness to give up the attachments to the games which belong to the life that is now ending.
In any case, regardless if an individual refuses to give up the attachments to the games of his now ending life, or regardless if the individual is willingly giving up the attachments to the games which belong to the life that is now in the process of ending, he will encounter Other-world Teachers.
Here comes a big difference to the individual that is in the process of dying. If he willingly gives up his attachments to the games which belong to the life that is now ending, he will view his Other-world Teachers' image in a friendly form. The form or the personage will depend upon the loved ones of his life, and/or the nature of the individual's spirituality.
The Other-world Teacher could come in the form of a parent, a relative, an old friend, a new friend, or, some image which belongs to the individual's religion. Regardless of the form which the Other-world Teacher takes, the individual will be led, or placed, upon the path which will lead him from his present life to his next life, be that next life on the same level as the last life, or be it upon a totally different level of experience. In any case, the individual that is experiencing The Death Process will know, within himself, when he approaches The Double-gate which leads out of the in between time, which leads into the next level of experience.
For some, this Double-gate comes in the form of a door. To some, it comes in the form of a bridge, wherein the bridge has a point of no return, wherein one side of the point of no return resides in the in between time and the other side of the point resides out of the illusion of his life which has just ended.
However, if the individual refuses to give up his attachments to the games which belong to the life that is ending, the Other-world Teachers will be viewed as demons or as harpies that plague him with experiences which are, in and of themselves, designed to force him to rid himself of his attachments to the games which belong to the life that is in the process of ending. It can be said that this In-between Time is, indeed, a hell of dreams.
During this time, the individual is, indeed, in the hell of his own thoughts, of his own creation, of his own dreams... the laws of a new reality take hold. While it is true that the individual views his Other-world Teachers as demons and harpies, in truth, they are not. Simply put, their image's form comes from the individual's own mind. They take on the image of the individual's fears, of the individual's hates, and, of the individual's desires.
As the individual is slowly forced to change, to give up his attachments to the games which belong to the life that is in the process of ending, because of the horror of the In-between Time's experience, he does not view this change as the process of growth... at least, not at first.
It must be remembered that the dying individual is in a very special type of hell, albeit a hell of his own making. It is because of the hell-type experiences which he is forced to experience that he views the change that is taking place in him as a process wherein the harpies are driving him toward the very demons of his fears, demons which always rip away a part of his mind, a part of his dreams, a part of his memories, and, thus, a part of his life [a part of his life because the individual is not aware that he is in his In-between Time. He thinks that he is still alive].
It is not until the ending of his In-between Time hell that the individual comes to realize that what he thought were harpies and demons were, in truth, friends and/or spiritual beings who were in the process of teaching him how to leave the old life behind.
His In-between Time will not end until a specific amount of progress has been made; usually, this is when the individual comes to realize that he is, for all practical purposes, dead and is in the process of transferring his life's energy into his next life's experience. More and more the individual will sleep and dream the dreams of his In between time. The experiences that were the life that is in the process of ending become, more and more, just a memory... It is the point of true exchange from the old life to the new life... As more of his old life's experiences are viewed as just dreams, the dreams of his In between time world becomes the reality that now governs his awake state. As the Death Process continues, more of his time will be spent within his new reality, and more of his old reality will become a quickly fading dream.
Finally, there is one more self-made hell that the individual must go through. The important thing to remember here is that it is a self-made judgment--the individual used his free-will to create the Predestiny which he must now experience.
However the nature of the hell that an individual experiences during the In-between Time, there are still cases wherein the individual refuses to give up the attachments to the illusions of the life that is ending. When the Other-World teachers who are perceived as demons make the decisions that their work is finished, that they are unable to teach the individual to give up his attachments to the life that is ending, then, the Other-World teachers must, because of the laws of Karma, force the individual to, again, descend into physical life using reincarnation to relive the parts that the individual could not/would not give up.
Usually, from within the dream of his in between time, the individual will either be forced to pass through another door, usually a green door [the color green always symbolizes the process of change, itself], or the terrorized individual will seem to be escaping the harpies as he rushes through this other green door which leads downward, into the lower levels of the place that he thinks he's in, into the reincarnation stages. There, over and over again the individual will have the chance to live another life until the Karma that held him back is equalized.
An Example of the Death Process might be as follows: Let us say that individual X lives in New York... as a Male; as such, he always wears a black suit [he wears that black suit because that's the suit he was born with]. After a time, let's say fifty years, individual X's black suit is old, torn apart, and totally worn out; it is so worn out that it is now unfit to continue being worn.

Let's say that because of that law, individual X decides to move to Florida. Also, in the process of moving from New York to Florida, individual X finds that he need not remain a Male... and, he need not choose to be reborn in a black suit. He is far too busy dealing with the affairs of his, in this case, her, because during the move, he changed from a male to a female new drama. The old him who once lived in New York, may or may not be a passing memory. Life must and will go on. That is the law of continuity. That fear of the known will usually make the process more painful, because of the stories of damnation which comes from Earth's existing religions. They take on the image of the individual's fears, of the individual's hates and the individual's desires.

It is written my beginnings are, indeed, the other side of my endings. It is written my birth is but one of many beginnings that will be experienced within the SoJourn of my first birth. It is written seven times will each deed be born anew; seven times will I suffer The Death of each new beginning's deed, for weal or for woe. It is written each deed has its own Bondings' Three--the one's For, the one's With, and the one's Against the Birth of my Death, the Death of my birth... And, the reverse is true as well! It is written that during my First Birth I will forgive; during my second Birth, I will evaluate both, My Birth and My Death; during my third Birth, I will evaluate and I will enslave my deeds to Karma's Will; during my fourth Birth, I will condemn the deed unto Karma's rage unto forever; during my fifth Birth, I will come to know Love; during my sixth Birth, I will come to know Understanding; during my seventh Birth, I will come to know Forgiveness even unto myself. It is written that I will begin, again, the Trek towards Life, for the first time.
