Fig. #2. In the first part of the above diagram, notice that all the barriers between the awake state and each of the three dream levels are intact. The individual who is sleeping can reach any of the three dream states; however, only the dreamer will be aware--none of the dreamed people will be aware of the presence of the dreamer. In the next section, further down, notice that the barrier between the awake state and the first dream level has been lifted. Under this condition, the laws shown in Fig #1 will apply, but only between levels 1 & 2. Under this new condition, the Ba of level one can become aware of the Ka of level 2; and, the Ba of level 2 can become aware of the Ba of level 1. As each becomes comfortable with the awareness of the other, a first level Grand Awakening occurs. However, the other two dream states where the veils are intact will not be able to become aware of the new Grand Awakening, much less the original dreamer. Finally, in the last section, notice that two veils have been lifted. This means that there are three levels that can become aware of each other. The other level will still remain veiled. In any case, any time there is the lifting of a veil, the laws shown in Fig. #1 apply.
