Fig. #4.
As an individual learns to travel, there must be a mechanism available to aid the process of language. This mechanism, as with all aspects of language, comes in the form of graphics to which a specific definition can be applied. Again, the best method is to somehow use a pattern that is already accepted within the Individual's awareness of the limits of creation. In the case of Fig. #4, above, the pattern that serves us best is the one that is used to explain the physics of electricity. Using the pattern above as a starting point, we can take the graphics aside and assign them a different definition; one that suits our purpose of explaining the different aspects of Astration and Projection, with respect to The Astral Plane Of Common Reality.
Firstly, let us begin by accepting that in/on the Astral Plane Of Common Reality, all matter must be positive; hence, negative matter would be known as antimatter. Secondly, since antimatter cannot exist with matter (as each would cancel out the existence of the other), we must have a different means of describing the concept of the relationship between matter and antimatter versus the relationship of matter that is more positive than other matter without confusing the two types of concepts. This new mechanism is the use of the positive symbol (+) to have reference to matter that is more positive than other matter and the use of the negative symbol (-) to have reference to matter that is less positive than other matter. Needless to say, in so doing, we have brought to bear the concept of relative relationship; hence, something is + only in reference to, or relative to something else that is -.
The next point to accept is that, in the physics of electricity, the graphics seen in panel A of fig. #4 represent what is known as AC Voltage, or AC Current, wherein there is a constant change of both, amplitude over time and polarity over time when viewed from a referenced base line having 0 volts. However, using the same graphics, let us assign a different definition. Instead of having the base line represent 0 voltage, let us have the base line represent The Astral Plane of Common Reality. Also, let us assign an additional definition to the base line--the length of the base line will now represent the time that has passed while the awareness factor exists within the awakened state of The Astral Plane of Common Reality.
Panel B of fig. #4 represents, in the physics of electricity, a mechanism [a circuit] that converts AC voltage and AC Current into DC voltage and DC Current. Again, using the same graphics but assigning a different definition, we can, for a time, assign the graphics of the Wheatstone Bridge to represent the process of falling asleep, the process of loosing consciousness upon the Astral Plane of Common Reality, and the process of losing awareness of time passing upon the awakened state of X reality (notice that we used X reality as opposed to the Astral Plane of Common Reality. This is because the X can now serve as a variable, representing the reality of any chosen plane/level of experience).
Needless to say, once the process of leaving one level of existence [via the loss of the awareness factor upon that level of existence] is finished, the traveler can end up in or upon any number of states of beingness/ planes of experience/levels of experience, having any degree of awareness. However, regardless of the condition involved, the student traveler must have the language to understand the process involved.
Since panel B only represents a process, we can also assign the process different types of cause & effect relationships as necessary to our purpose. Panels C through K can represent the cause & effect relationships that can be assigned to the process of panel B
The graphics of panel C represent the following: 1. the process begins upon the base line, the Astral Plane of Common Reality, or upon X reality; 2. the student traveler goes through a cycle of losing consciousness and regaining it six times [falling asleep six times and awakening six times, but having a slight awareness of being awake between the periods of having fallen asleep, and, having no awareness of X reality while asleep] without being aware of the passing of time upon X reality during the sleep time; 3. the process ends where it began, upon the Astral Plane of Common Reality or upon X where consciousness returns with all the implications thereof.
The graphics of panel D represent all the cause & effect relationships that were assigned to panel C, but with one difference. There may/might be awareness of the passing of time upon X reality, but upon such a deep level as not to be aware of it during the processes. If the awareness is present during the processes, the student traveler is not consciously aware of it.
Panel E represents the possibility of awareness existing upon X reality, but only upon an unconscious level.
The graphics of panel F represent all the cause & effect relationships assigned to panel C with one difference. The traveler is totally aware of the passing of time upon both of the X realities; upon the Astral Plane of Common Reality and upon or during the reality of each of the six dream levels.
Again, in the physics of electricity, a filtering system has an input and an output. So, too, will each of our cause & effect relationships that are assigned to X process. In either case, the input will be changed into something that is either similar, or into something that is totally different; the degree of difference will depend upon the individual and the purpose of the filtering. In our case, the process of filtering will be assigned the new definition of the process of achieving control over X. For our present purpose, the traveler could be gaining control of the process of falling asleep, the process of becoming awakened, the control of the degree of awareness during each aspect of falling asleep or becoming awakened from sleep, and/or anything that is desired to gain control over.
The graphics of panel G represent a cause & effect relationship between X reality and a Y reality in such a way as there is absolutely no awareness of the goings on of the X reality while the individual resides within the Y reality; and, such that the awareness factor exists only upon the Y reality, as can be seen by the bumpy timeline between the entrance into the Y reality and the exit from the Y back into the X reality. It is important to note that it is the absence of the base line of the X reality that denotes the lack of awareness upon that reality; and, it is the presence of the bumpy base line of the Y reality that denotes the presence of awareness upon that reality. Remember, it is the length of the time/base line that denotes the presence of awareness upon any given reality. Again, it is important to note that in panel F, while the individual is falling asleep and awakening, there is no actual time/base line between the falling asleep and the awakening. It is this lack of a time/base line of the sleep time that denotes the lack of awareness during the sleep time, even though there is a time/base line present upon the X reality.
In panel G, the cause & effect relationship starts upon X reality where there is, for a time, awareness and all the implications thereof. Then, there is a sudden rise in state [the individual goes from the X reality into a Y reality] such that, the bumpy time/base line indicates that there is awareness present in the Y reality, but the lack of a time/base line on the X level indicates that there is a lack of awareness during the time that the individual resides upon the Y reality.
However, the graphics of panel H has all the aspects of panel G plus one more--there is awareness upon both levels' reality. This is the first time that the individual graph indicates the presence of a dual awareness. Although there is dual awareness, the degree of awareness is not indicated. All that is indicated is either the presence or the absence of awareness upon the relative levels of experience, upon the relative levels of the dream states and the awakened state.
Panel I, for the first time, indicates the graph of falling asleep on X reality and finding One's self upon Y reality, then, again falling sleep upon the Y reality and finding One's self upon Z reality. However, there is no awareness of any level of reality that is below the one that is presently being experienced. The individual, while in the Z reality has no awareness of the goings on of the Y reality, and while in the Y reality, there is no awareness of the goings on of the X reality. In such a case, the individual will seem to awaken [thinking that he is awake] only to again awaken. He will have the experience of waking up twice before he is awake upon the Astral Plane of Common Reality.
Panel J tells a different story. It has all the cause & effect relationships assigned to panel I plus one more. The traveler will retain awareness of the goings on of the X reality while s/he travels to a Y reality and then to a Z reality. However, even though awareness of the goings on of the X reality will continue to exist within the X reality [regardless of being upon the other two realities], the individual will not retain the awareness of the goings on of the Y reality while experiencing the Z reality. Still, there will be a loss of consciousness between the Y reality and the Z reality.
Finally, panel K has all that is assigned to panel J plus one more--awareness is retained regardless of the level of experience. In the case of panel K, for the first time, Tri-awareness is experienced. There is an awareness of all levels with respect to the original level. The next logical step would be to achieve multiple awareness; such that all levels are aware of each other--a task that is difficult, indeed, to achieve.
The graphing of one's experience is unlimited. Every time one travels from one level to another, regardless of which level one leaves from, and regardless of how many levels are involved, the same pattern need apply.
