Guardians: Gabriel and Ariel
(The Two Sides Of The Same Door)
Guardians are forces which are, in and of themselves, Double-Gates which separate two adjoining levels of experience. In this case (Planet Earth), the two sides of the Double-Gate are called Gabriel and Ariel.
Gabriel and Ariel are but labels which are used for the Sentry and the Sentinel of the Astral Plane Of Common Reality of Planet Earth. Gabriel is said to guard the exit from Earth, while Ariel is said to guard the entrance into Earth. Each are said to be two faces of the same door. To some, they are the opposite sides of the same bridge that spans the river Styx--the source of all illusions. They are, in fact, the two sides of the Double-Gate leading into and out of the Earth Experience.
Many are the reports of individuals who have died and come upon the force which separates this level of awareness from the next, the one we of Earth call death. For some, Gabriel was in the form of a door; to these individuals, they knew without ever having been told that if they passed through this door they could never return.
To others, Gabriel came in the form of a bridge which spanned a sector of space (most individuals, because of the limits of their language, will see the bridge spanning a body of water... the river Styx, perhaps. Others will see the bridge spanning some unknown in space. Still, others will not be able to see what the bridge spans. Finally, a few will only see the bridge spanning dry land/space); again, the individual knew without ever having been told that if that bridge was crossed beyond a certain point, it was a one-way trip.
Still, for others, Gabriel came to them while they were transversing a long tunnel that had a type of light at the end of it; and, in that tunnel, Gabriel came in the form of a loved one, a family member, or an individual whom they knew. In all cases, the individual was led across a point which, if passed, they could never return.
Such are the guiles of creation. The borders between this level of awareness and the level we call death is always peaceful. The one thing all who have experienced it speak of is the overwhelming peace and love which betakes them as Gabriel approaches them.
The Hierarchical Guiding Force was recognized by the mystics of old as but one of the many points along The Continuum of Force. That particular point along the continuum was called The Eyes of the Hound of Hell.
Having encountered this point of the continuum many times during their own training, they would always recognize the eyes of the Hound of Hell because it made itself known as a guiding light which receded as the pilgrim traveler-student approached; it receded because it must lead (rather than compel the seeker to follow) backward along the path which led to the pilgrim's entrapment. However slowly or reluctantly the Ba may be, the all-seeing eye of the Hound of Hell would wait for the individual to follow; it could do no more. However, as it roamed the grave-trap called The Earth Experience, it did touch the Ba (the individual's higher self) of each of the individuals who were trapped within the Hell Of Their Own Thoughts from time to time. However, it did so only once during each life. If the individual chose not to follow, it was their choice to remain upon lower Middle Earth for another cycle.
Like the point of no return, the touch of The Hound Of The Hell Of Their Own Thoughts could come to the individual in different ways. For some, it could come in a dream, wherein the individual could have an experience that was so moving in its reality that the experience trickled down into the individual's awakened state reality.
For others, it could come in the form of a sudden change in their life; such as an unusual type of experience [such as are possible during a drug experience, such as is possible during an accident where the individual lost consciousness for a time, such as a temporary imbalance of the necessary internal chemicals within the physical body] that would have sufficient force of reality to completely change, or at the very least, to modify the normal A Happenings of the individual's everyday-life's affair in such a way that the individual would never forget the experience. If the individual were willing, the experience would be seen as a highly spiritually-moving cause for a true change in the attitudes that governed the individual's life. If the individual were not willing, there would be such fear attached to the memory of the experience that the individual would seek to forget everything; they would even deny the spiritual connection that was made during the incident. In some cases, they could even deny what little spirituality that they believed in before the experience. They would, indeed, go deeper into the trap of The Hell Of Their Own Thoughts.
It was well known by the mystics of old that if the individual's games were willing, the eyes of The Hound of the Hell Of Their Own Thoughts would lead them back, along the road which trapped them in their present state of hell, thus showing them the way to freedom from the pool of pain in which they presently resided.
It is said that the sign of the wise man is that he prepares himself, that he may come to listen and to follow, against the day when the Hound of Hell should visit and vest the Law of the Moment upon the wise man. He who proves not to be so wise, in that he lost the opportunity of the moment, shall continue unto his games, forever.
The exit point of every game is, truly, a magic moment; it is so because that moment exists only in the Now Zone. The power of the magic moment is that under the spell of the magic moment, the respective game will stop... all doors leading out of the trap of the game would be cast open, for a short time. Then, all players would be allowed to leave. When the few players that were allowed to leave left the game in question, for those who were still caught up in it, the trapdoors would again close; needless to say, the trapping game would again continue. However, the game would continue such that, for the players who continued to play, there were be no perception of a loss of time; and, the players who were allowed to exit the game would then realize the ramifications of the effects of having played the game upon their continuum of free-will. The process of having freed themselves from the game would give them a heightened awareness of the playing of games, in general.
In the In-Between Time, it is said that the visiting Hound of Hell often takes the form of an Harpy who plagues the wrongdoer with guilt. But, if the wrongdoer truly seeks to change his ways of stubbornness, then the Hound of Hell becomes his best friend.
It is written that we who reside upon the Astral Plane Of Common Reality paid a heavy price to play the Games Of Life... It is said that the Guardians of Earth exact payment in kind for all the deeds that are experienced... It is said that the ever watchful eyes of the Guardians mark tally against all who trespass into the power of Illusions. It is written that the Guardians of Earth send forth their Hounds to find all who are lost in the Forest Of Illusions... It is said that while the Hounds Of The Hell Of One's Own Thoughts will find the lost ones, it is the will of the lost ones who have the power to be found... or, to be forever lost amidst the ever-changing paths which blind the player from his Maat. It is written that pain and sorrow are the rewards for the playing of all games within the Forest Of Illusion. Yet, I shall try.
