God: The Great Force
(The First Cause Of All Causes)

God can be said to be A Magic Circle whose center is everywhere, and whose circumference is nowhere.

In the understanding of it, Man, the individual Godling, because of the law which states: You can see all that is below you, very little that is on par to you, and, nothing that is above you, will never be able to perceive a true concept of God from his lowly perch within The Maya of his illusion. This is because the Magic Circle known as God is just there, like love. The Godling Man may come to be familiar with the concept of a God, if and only if, he is willing to accept that there is a force in the Universe that is greater than himself. And, if he is lucky, he may come to be one with God, if he works hard enough for it. Still, he may, in moments of great understanding, in moments of forgiveness, and in moments of love, feel the presence of his God; but, on this level of awareness, he will never totally understand the nature of God.

For each individual, God is whatever the individual conceives it to be; as such, the concept of God raises questions that each individual must answer for himself. Each must find his own answers because another's answer can never have the ring of truth. Each individual has a different level of illusion to which he must bow. Still, if an individual is to come to grips with his questions of God that reside within himself, it is imperative that the question, itself, be understood.

The first problem is that each individual has a different idea of what the word God means. One person might conceive of God as an all powerful being, wise, and omnipresent, while another might think of it as merely a force which is the underlying cause of all things. Still another might think in terms of beginnings and sources of all things.

According to our teachings, there are certain forces which exist. These might or might not be termed God according to the level of observation of the individual. Remember, to a lower species, such as a cat, Man, himself, might be viewed as a God. In this sense, there are certainly godlike beings that exist throughout the Universe.

If one's conception of God is the force which is the seed of all things, the source from which all comes, then, you would be worshipping what we call Primedial Force.

Primedial-Force is just that--the source of ALL things. It is said to be the sanguine sea of energy from which sprang all things. Still, without activation, nothing would have been created. This first activation is what we call The GreatForce. It is the awakening, so to speak, of that point along the continuum of Force--Primedial-Force. The GreatForce is the power which powers all things; therefore, is seed for change, itself, throughout the Universe, ultimately. Of course, we live in an ordered Universe, and, that is the result of a set of Laws which guides, and otherwise modifies the action of, and, therefore, the power of The GreatForce. That set of Laws is called Recursive Dialusion. Together, the combined forces of Recursive Dialusion, the GreatForce, and Primedial-Force are said to be the highest trinity--The Triunity of Creation. As a unit, they [Recursive Dialusion, The GreatForce, and Primedial-Force] are one and the same, and yet, when each is acting separately, they are different.

For some, they are, when taken as a whole, are the footprints which show the presence of God's power. If they are, then God has no love, no wisdom, no mercy, no pity inherent within it. It has not even awareness, itself, as man knows it to be! All that the High Trinity of Creation has within it is the power to create, and, a set of laws which govern that power. Still, all creative power resides here. Nothing else has power to create but it is given them by the Father.

Somehow, the image of a God that appears to create in a mechanical way, obeying a set of laws, creating not through free-will but only because it obeys its own inner nature compulsively, an inner nature which is devoid of any and all qualities that humans aspire to (with the exception of power), can, for some individuals, be a dissatisfying picture.

The Holy Trinity [the high trinity] is not something that Man can ever really hope to understand in his present state. From the human point of view, it is merely a power--machine-like power that is, in and of itself, absolute, un-wrenchable, immovable, inviolate power. Still, in meditation of that power, and in meditation of what that power has wrought, one can find great beauty. Perhaps The High Trinity is, to some, God.

Since Man does feel love, mercy, and pity, we expect that the qualities of love, mercy, and pity must also exist in God. If those qualities do not exist in The High Trinity--God, where do they exist? Furthermore, if, for some, the human qualities of love, mercy and pity do not exist in God, does this imply that The High Trinity known as God is not truly Man's creator? Still, further, if The High Trinity called God, by some, is not Man's Creator, how can it [The High Trinity] be God, be that which created all things?

There are some who believe that human qualities, while they do not exist as an inherent part of The High Trinity--God, they do exist there as potentials. Remember, Primedial Force is the seed of all things, therefore, it has the inherent potential to become anything and everything. Actually, the human qualities such as love, mercy, and pity came into being at a much lower level of creation--specifically, the level of the creation of MindForce.

If we take into consideration the law: That which exists shall be dual in its nature, but Triune in its effects, then, the duality of the creation of Man, and therefore, the creation of human qualities, can be said to be the LifeForce and the MindForce. If this is so, as many believe, then, MindForce can be seen as man's creator, and, thus, God. Still, both LifeForce and MindForce are, themselves, creations of The High-Trinity.

The LifeForce is the creator of all matter. Thus, is it God? If so, then God, once again, has no free-will. God compulsively creates by following a template of Law; as such, God feels no love, and embodies not the qualities of Man, except as the qualities of Man exist at that level as unmanifested potentials.

Still, without LifeForce, there would be only matter--unliving, undead matter. However, we must not forget that life, itself, is perhaps the Universe's most beautiful creation. So, perhaps, the LifeForce is God.

However, if, as some people believe, LifeForce is not God, then, The MindForce is the next candidate. The MindForce is that aspect of LifeForce which gives intelligence, awareness, free-will, the ability to feel emotions, the ability to have independent thought, and every other aspect of mind, to life-forms. It is sometimes called The Universal Mind. Man, as far as he knows, is the greatest expression of Universal Mind.

Perhaps Universal Mind is God. If MindForce is God, then God has freewill; in that, God creates because He wants to; God is capable of feeling love, mercy, and pity toward that which was created. If this is so, then, MindForce is the source of all wisdom. Everything that Man can aspire to be, everything that Man can imagine can be experienced within the scope of MindForce. Any humanistic picture of God has no choice but to refer to Universal Mind, for it, and it alone, is the highest expression of any, and of all human qualities. Further, Man cannot go beyond the limits set by MindForce; Man cannot go beyond his creator. To do so, Man would cease to exist as Man. Man's being would unwind, it would return once again into the swirl of cosmic forces from which it came. His awareness factor would be lost; thus, he would no longer experience anything. It is perhaps difficult to understand the enormity of being uncreated, if being uncreated is the correct term to use.

So, perhaps MindForce is God. If MindForce is God, as some believe, then, we are saying that MindForce is the creator of all that is. In one sense, from one level of observation, that is, indeed, true. It is true because without an awareness factor, there can be no existence for any life-form. Still, MindForce is, itself, a creation of a still higher force. And, yet, that still higher force is beyond Man's ability to experience. From Man's point of view, it would be correct to say that Man, himself, is greater than his ultimate creator, The High Trinity. Man, himself, actually has the ability to control the creative forces of the Universe. So, we are left with strange paradoxes. Man, in his highest state (being at one with Universal Mind), is the sum total of all creation that has preceded him. He manifests qualities that previously were unknown. Man possesses qualities which, in his own eyes, are great; so great, that his ultimate creator, for all intents and purposes, does not, itself, have! Perhaps, as some believe, Man, himself, is God, or at least a Godling.

As one learns more and more about the various levels of creation, it becomes evident that many questions have different answers, depending on what level of observation the answer comes from. We have shown how The High Trinity, the LifeForce, the MindForce, and even Man, himself, could be considered to be God. This is a subject worthy of much study and much meditation. In the final analysis, each man must create and live with his own conception of what or who God is, and what or who is worthy of worship. In our teachings, for what it is worth, we do not speak of a God. We speak of the forces of the Universe, each one of which can be seen as being God from one or more levels of observation.

This is not to say that God does not exist. It merely means that who or what is deemed to be God is dependent upon the criterion used to evaluate said force or being. We find it more fruitful to understand the interactions between the myriad forces of creation. Perhaps it is this entire fabric, this creative burgeoning from Primedial-Force's source, this interplay of forces, which is God.

If an individual were hard pressed to make a definitive statement about the nature of the existence of God, a workable statement might be: God is any life-form who holds the thoughts of learning and growing, and, in doing so, becomes a part of the Magic Circle whose center is everywhere, and whose edges are nowhere.

Since there are many levels to creation, and, since each level is unique unto itself, and, since each respective level seems to replicate the pattern of existence which is above and below it, there must be a special seed pattern which began it all. The Godhead of Creation is that very special pattern which replicates itself endlessly, using the laws of Recursive Dialusion, via the subset of law which is known as Repeating Patterns. For a more in-depth discussion, see Seven Rivers of Creation.

It has often been argued that God's first thought was the true force that is still in the process of creating and maintaining the physical Universe. Furthermore, it was believed by the ancient Magi of old Egypt that the first thought was:

Upon the face of purity, upon the face of non-darkness, upon the face of all things, even upon the six points of power, my mind shall conceive. With the power of the lights of the illumination of illusion, peace shall walk my heart and seven rivers shall flow from my mind; and, issued forth from each river shall come all things high and low, each unto its own level, after its own kind.
