Isis: Truly, The Grandmother of Life
(The Union between LifeForce and MindForce)
Isis (e-sis) (see Fig. #1) is the symbolic representation of The Grandmother Of Life, in all its aspects (The actual Mother of Life resides, according to the older legends, upon the very Planet of Life's birth--thus, each planet's life has its own beginning, thus its own separate mother). Her (Isis) influence extends over all Life-forms, on all levels of creation. In addition to her duties as giver-of-life, Isis is also involved in the creation of The Magic Circle, and in the maintaining of the barrier which separates one level of awareness from another.
Isis is often called The Great Ka, because She gets her power directly from the first manifestation of power--The Chi of Creation. Isis is seed to Primedial Force, that from which all creation comes. As The Great Ka, Isis is mother to Aten, The GreatForce which animates all of creation.
Isis is the first of the three graces [the other two are Anubis and Ptoh]; it is Isis who holds the Wand (the Ankh) which gives birth to MindForce via the fabled Sacred Ruby of Life.
There is much mystery in the origin of Isis. Over time, the Symbology of Isis has been so corrupted that in today's world the true meaning of Isis is all but lost. Most will agree that Isis is symbol for the giver of life. In fact, this is not true; at least, not for the Magi who lived in ancient Egypt. Again, while the people of today think of Isis as a mother, the mystic of old, as do Arkasheans of today, do not. (see Fig. #2)
The reader will have to follow closely if he is to understand this ancient riddle; it is the riddle of creation, itself. Again, the best way to explain this riddle is to read directly from The Book Of Earth.

"In the beginning, before the beginning of creation, there existed a great void that was not a true void [it was not a true void because the term void implies an emptiness] called [for the lack of a better label] Isis, The Neuter--a sanguine sea of possibilities which was at peace with itself and at peace with its surroundings; it was at rest. Isis, The Neuter, was neither active nor passive, neither Male nor Female; Isis, The Neuter, contained within it naught but the possibilities of un-created futures.
"From within the great void there came a stirring from which was created The Chi of Creation--The God-Head (see Seven Rivers of Creation). The God-Head divided itself unto five great sections of limitless power.
"Primedial-Force is passive in its nature and is thus called seed for The She; GreatForce is active in its nature and is thus called seed for The He.
"The recursive aspects of Creation brought forth (also from Isis during the same moment of the creation) The Continuum Of Change, a point of which we today call The Continuum Of Repeated Patterns. It is this Continuum (The Continuum Of Repeated Patterns) which caused the combining of The She and The He to issue forth still a new creation--The Continuum Of LifeForce. Care must be taken not to confuse The Continuum Of LifeForce with The Continuum Of MindForce. It is the Continuum Of LifeForce that makes Matter as we know it possible (It is The Continuum Of MindForce which gives life-forms their ability to be aware).
"While it was The She which brought forth energy from Isis, it was The He which gave Mobility to the energy which The She wrought from Isis, The Neuter.
"Again, Law repeated itself. With the re-combining of the energy that came from the union of LifeForce and GreatForce, with the energy which Primedial-Force had wrought from Isis, Mind-Force came to issue. And, with MindForce came Man and all other forms of animated life.
"We can see from the above text how it came to be that Isis was called The Grand Mother or The Giver Of Life. It must also be remembered that in the days of old, there were no labels to accurately describe the true nature of Isis.
"The inheritors of the Magi's wisdom only thought in terms of the female giving birth because of the actions of the male. Needless to say, they carried this thinking process into their theology. Thus, Isis became both, a woman and a Goddess in the same-self-moment.
"Because of this type of thinking, the teachings of the old priests became that Isis was once a mortal woman who was sister to the King Osiris; a king who got himself killed by his brothers. Then, Isis became a Goddess when she gave herself to the Gods.
"In either case, the thinking process of the Male and the Female was not originally associated with Isis. This association did not come into existence until much, much later; it came into Egyptian theology when the Hokites were driven out of Egypt and the new king's area God became the State's God--Amen Re. It has been thus ever since.
"In other words, it will become easier to understand if we accept that Humanity has a seemingly uncontrollable propensity toward assigning human names and human attributes to its Gods and Goddesses. We must also accept that Humanity's Gods and Goddesses are really nothing more than the seemingly divine Forces which control the many aspects and cycles of the creation of Man, himself, and the environment within which Man finds himself. Much to Man's discredit, his Gods and Goddesses even seem to control his lack of ability to control himself--therefore, Man is always at war.
"This was so during the time of the Magi of ancient Egypt, and it is so for the Magi of today. Likewise, since the use of names aided the seeker of old to understand and keep separate the nature of the Double-Gate, so, too, the use of names serves the same purpose today.
"Now then, forgiving that, if we think of the processes involved in the Double-Gates, such as the Double-Gate Gabriel and Ariel (The Double-Gate Gabriel & Ariel are guardians of the path that leads/allows a life-form to either enter the Earth Experience or to leave the Earth Experience), then we can come to understand that we are really just talking about the Double-Gate which exists on a much higher level. In this case, the names which are used are Isis and Anubis. As Gabriel guards the exit from the Earth experience, so, too, Anubis guards the exit from all illusions. And, as Ariel guards the entrance into the Earth experience, so, too, Isis guards the entrance into all Illusions. Thus, we have the teachings of the priests of the temples and the secret teachings of the Temple Of Light.
"Needless to say, however, there are/were specific laws governing the process of entering and the process of exiting the Earth Experience. Today, we call one set of law 'Birth' and the other set of law 'Death'. To understand the specifics of each, with respect to the varied life-forms, the reader will have to study the Laws Of Illusion, as those illusions apply to each specific point along the continuum of Life-forms. Each is very different. It is these differences that make a Man a man and a Fish a fish."
